Built Different is a short, powerful book about loss, resilience, and becoming who you’re meant to be after everything falls apart.
Written to be read in a few sittings—and felt long after—this book was intentionally created without filler. Every chapter exists for a reason.
⸻
This Book Was Written With Intention
This book is intentionally concise.
I didn’t stretch the story. I respected it.
Grief doesn’t show up in long explanations—it shows up honest and direct. That’s how this book was written.
⸻
What This Book Is
• A deeply personal story of loss and rebuilding
• Written for anyone learning how to live again after grief
• Honest, reflective, and grounded in real experience
• Rooted in the legacy of my mother, Brenda Marie Gigi
⸻
Who This Book Is For
This book is for you if you:
• Have lost someone and feel changed by it
• Feel stuck, behind, or unsure of who you’re becoming
• Want something real—not surface-level motivation
• Believe healing doesn’t need to be loud to be powerful
This book may not be for you if you’re looking for fluff or quick motivation.
⸻
Why I Wrote This Book
I wrote this book because I needed to.
And because I know there are people quietly carrying pain, trying to rebuild themselves while the world keeps moving.
Built Different isn’t about being stronger than everyone else.
It’s about surviving what should’ve broken you—and choosing to keep becoming.
⸻
What to Expect
• Approximately 80–90 pages
• Short chapters meant to be read slowly or all at once
• A story you may see yourself in
⸻
This isn’t a long book.
It’s a deep one.

Love it!!!
I absolutely love my hoodie! 💗 It’s comfortable, great quality, and the message means so much to me. As I celebrate 3 years as a breast cancer survivor, the words “Built Different” hit home. From my double mastectomy to chemotherapy and everything in between, I’ve been through a journey that changed my life. This hoodie represents strength, resilience, and the reminder that I’m still here! 🎗️💪🏾 Highly recommend! ❤️
My husband is a Bills fan. Got the Hoodie for his birthday. He loves it.
I have not yet worn the sweatshirt; however, the material is of exceptional quality and aesthetic appeal. I truly appreciate the design and color, as well as the meaningful cause it represents, particularly given my personal experience with breast cancer since 2007. This hoodie holds significant personal value to me. I wish you continued success in your professional endeavors and personal journey, and I am certain your mother would be immensely proud of your accomplishments. Thank you for this beautiful piece, and I look forward to sharing a photo once I have the opportunity to wear it. 🙂God Bless 🙌🏽 🙏🏽 🎀🌸

Received my hoodie and I absolutely love it! I did order a larger size than I usually do and thank god I did because these hoodies run small. But other than that I have no complaints about it. Shipping was fast, quality is amazing, and its the perfect weight for the fall season! Very satisfied customer -Stacia

Love the sweatshirt! Next time I will order up a size because I prefer a looser fit but that is completely on me, maybe I was feeling smaller the day I ordered lol! Also not good at taking photos of myself or (like to I guess?) but there you go. Also GO BILLS!!! ❤️ THE MAFIA!

We love the hoodies and the service was awesome. After finding that we needed larger sizes, I requested an exchange within a couple hours Gigi met me to complete the exchange. Thanks for making sure we had the right sizes before the first game.
